The challenge and our response
Legal empowerment begins with knowledge. Many citizens are unable to exercise or defend their rights simply because they lack access to legal information. The Civic and Legal Education Programme seeks to increase legal literacy by educating individuals and communities about their constitutional rights.
Through community outreach, public awareness campaigns, school programmes, media engagement, and digital platforms, ILA equips citizens with practical legal knowledge that enables them to participate actively in governance, peacefully resolve disputes, and make informed decisions.
